Throughout the sands of time, women have sustained difficult times. Women have undergone extreme atrocities and have emerged victorious. They undergo so much pain in their day-to-day life. From menstruation as a young girl to childbirth as a young woman. From her first heartbreak as a teenager to bearing the inconsideration of future generations. From an overbearing husband to an apathetic boss. From labor to loss, women see it all and then eventually die. This doesn’t mean they don’t succeed. Just that they have to work a lot harder to get there. History has seen a lot of successful women and even though they may not do what they did any more or may have passed away, their memory lives on. This painting is an ode to the sacrifice and contribution of women since the dawn of time. A painting in their memory.
About the Artist
Negin Alavi is a lover of painting, design, and art history. In her opinion, having interest and artistic talent is a divine blessing that should be appreciated and used to raise the level and quality of life. It is a wide and endless path. She thinks painting is one of the most fascinating and powerful ways of meditation. Painting helps us to cultivate our souls. Negin has participated in several exhibitions to date and hopes to increase her reach and represent the best of life via her works. In addition to being a skilled hand at brushwork, she is also a teacher and mentor to young students of arts. She aspires to spread the power of art and use it to create a positive impact in the world.
